Cartoonist JOHN MUNDT, ESQ., was six years old in 1972 when he first drew the adventures of his new toy, Monkey. Since then, John has pursued an interest in creating comics, attended the Joe Kubert School, and worked as a freelance illustrator. In 1995, John began self-publishing The Adventures of Monkey comic books, based on the stories he drew decades earlier. This story, Monkey vs. IT!, is based on a 1977 English class extra-credit project (for a limited time, the original may be seen at www.johnmundtesquire.com)! Today, John lives in historic Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
