Agreed. I love the meta-narrative bits throughout, the various icons, visual puns, etc. They add tremendous punch, witty and sophisticated.

I knew a guy named Elijah Angel de Zion. His brother was Jesus Angel de Zion.

Being called by an ex who has been crucified because of her and probably possesses superpowers now attached to the name "Jesus" seems... disturbing.
Brilliant, guys! Oh, and as Dean already pointed out: the wake-up-in-deep-deep-love is just... heart-warming. [Sigh]

Oh, I'm positive about THAT. ;-) Especially since I don't have a clue whatever it could be. I have a strong feeling it will be connected to her suggestion Sam could save her instead of the world... but on the other hand, I just cannot imagine Lilah as a "damsel in distress".

I suppose time will tell, and I'm very sure that if Zuda would have allowed more than 8 pages for an entry, your comic would have easily won. This art is top notch, and the coloring is creative and functional. I think you needs some ad revenue ;)
