PANELS FOR PRIMATES IS BACK!
04:12pm / Dec 7, 2013
From Oct 2010 to Jun 2011, a charity anthology of primate-themed comics called Panels for Primates ran weekly here on ACT-I-VATE. If readers liked what they saw, they were encouraged to donate to the Primate Rescue Center in Nicholasville, KY. The creative line-up included newcomers and veterans alike, with industry heavyweights like David Petersen, Rick Geary, Faith Erin Hicks, Colleen Coover, Dean Haspiel, and Stan Lee pitching in.

Now MonkeyBrain Comics has published two digital editions, Panels for Primates (rated 15 yrs+) and Panels for Primates Junior (rated all-ages), which not only feature most of the ACT-I-VATE work, but also offer plenty of all-new comics, prose, and illustration. New contributors include John Byrne, Jamie Delano, Paul Kupperberg, Simon Fraser, Jeff Lemire, J. Bone, Douglas Rushkoff, Molly Crabapple, and more. All proceeds from the sale of these anthologies will go to the same charity as before, the Primate Rescue Center in Nicholasville, KY.

http://www.comixology.com/Panels-for-Primates/comics-series/12849

Though most of the Panels for Primates material has been taken down from ACT-I-VATE, a few pieces are still viewable here, including the strip by Dean Haspiel and Stan Lee.

Last few weeks were great for Golden Campaign as it became available at Gosh comics again and made a debut in the shelves of Orbital Comics where it quickly became staff’s pick of the week along with Mignola’s Sledge Hammer 44 and got the attention of many new readers. Really happy right now.

all of this led to an interview for the orbiting pod (the podcast from orbital comics) about Golden Campaign:
